How do i know if my LSD is still in a good shape?

It's winter were i am (and i unfortunatly have to drive my 240 in it) and i feel like the car is sliding more on the left when i try to start with some wheel spin from a dead stop.

how can i test out to see if my LSD is still working ...or not?

Sounds like it is working fine to me. One wheel will always start to slip until the viscous clutch or gears activate and transfer power. I am unsure which kind you have but I am going to assume we are talking about vlsd or hlsd.
