Just wondering if people would be interested in Rebuilt VH45's?

The specs:
Back to Stock

Torn apart and rebuild 100%
Block Boiled and honed to specs
Surfaces milled flat
Heads redone
New Valves
New Valve seats
Cam's balanced and honed
All new bearings and gaskets through out
New Piston rings

Options:
New pistons
Valve Springs
Cams
Lifters
Power coated valve covers

Sp pretty much you would get a stock Vh45 as if it came straight from the factory just better. Just wondering if people would pay the money for these or not.

Where would these blocks be coming from?

Would they cost less than a OEM long block?

Any sort of warranty like OEM (Pitiful 12 month/12K miles?)

I would't be using it for racing, track...

The blocks will either come from CA or WI depending on when it is ordered.

Not sure on what the costs are for an OEM long block... seems like you have prided it out?! how much were they?

We are working on a warranty right now but should be able to have something, but if the engine is used for track or any sort it would have to void the warranty.

A OEM long block from the dealer (One with the cheapest prices I can find) Still costs more than 6K USD. And run almost all the way up to $10K USD.

Would the blocks be tested in any way before shipped out?

with good used VH45's becoming harder to find, this would be a nice option.

Are you looking at building long blocks? This would be particularly attractive if you could make them basically ready to go in, with injectors, intake and basically ready to run.
