I got a koyo radiator and starion intercooler used for pretty good deals. They also seem pretty decent, despite a few bends and such.

I want to test them for leaks before installing them into the car, so I can get any necessary repairs beforehand.

Is it as simple as just runing water through one end of the radiator? same for intercooler? no damage will be done from this right?

Also, is there a chemical I can use to effectively flush out the radiator and intercooler? Radiator I just want to do for maintenance purposes. Intercooler, there is some styrofoam in there from packing, and I just want to get rid of all the stryo.

Again, these are both outside right now, not installed in car yet, hoping that will make things easier for me.

thanks a bunch!.
