Okay guys, So I'm having some issues with my car. Whenever I rev it, the clutch fan blows pretty hard right? Well the problem is, it smells like leakage cooling or gas or something. I took it to 3 different places. One says cracked manifolds, then i took it somewhere else, they said it wasn't that. Then I took it to another spot and they said they couldnt check. The point is, it smells bad, and I've had bad experiences with mechanics lately. So for anyone here, what causes it so smell like cooler or gas, or common problems under the hood with the 300zx?
ALSO,
if anyone from the BAY AREA knows a mechanic that really knows his stuff when it comes to this car. I'd highly appreciate some info. I'm very skeptical about who I take my car to.

I also don't like that the mechanic told you it was a "manifold", considering there are like 6 types of manifolds on a Z32 and usually there are 2 of each type. Are we talking exhaust? or Intake? or Other? And how would one manage to "crack" one? and I notice you used an "s" at the end of manifold, making it "manifolds", how does one happen to not only crack one? But more than one? Sounds like a very generic sounding response from a mechanic. Never trust non-specific diagnosis's. They come from people who don't want to tell you what the actual problem is so they can charge you for fixing whatever they want. Like if a mechanic told you that you had an exhaust leak and needed a new exhaust system for $600, and you find out that you have a small crack in the back end of your muffler and you could give a F#$% about it.
More info would help a lot, and I would definitely ask that mechanic if he knows what he's talking about? Because it doesn't sound like he really told you anything that might actually lead you to know what is wrong with your car.

I still see Coolant on there. Though its red. From my knowledge, its suppose to be green?
Well I only own the care for about 10 months, and I haven't noticed any actual drop in performance
not sure, the gas reader doesn't work so I have to guess how much gas i have. yes i have to fix that as well

I'm sorry man but that is completely disorganized and gets me no closer to helping you, I would suggest that you go to the "Everything you need to know about the Z32" Sticky and read that thread, then follow the troubleshooting procedures in the Factory Service Manual to identify your issues. Also a personal not, please write your posts more concisely, it is really hard to make sense of what you are writing because its disorganized.
