Hey, I've been having idle problems and wanted to tackle them before school and winter. I justed tested the TPS. My car is a 1992. I used the procedure found in the FSM.

When checking the resistance, I found:

- @ WOT resistance would be at ~2.36 K ohms- @ partial throttle, resistance would be between 2-10K ohms - @ no throttle, resistance would be at ~10 ohms

Now comes the problems:

When checking for power, with the ignition turned to the "on" position between the terminal C and ground (used intake manifold runners), it showed ~0 VWhen checking for continuity between A and ground with ignition off, my voltmeter will buzz, but it did not, which means no continuity.

I've used this voltmeter to check other sensors, which means that I do know how to use it.

Does this mean that a new TPS is in order?
