Anyone thought about looking into doing test pipes rather than a catback? ive seen a few 350z's with them on and it sounds alot meaner and they said they were getting just as good of performance out of tests as they would catbacks, not to mention test pipes are alot cheaper

Don't know too much about test pipes, but I've never seen anyone w/just test pipes. They usually have a cat-back and test pipes.

a while back i got 2.5" catback done to my car but kept the stock muffler because i wasn't sure what muffler i wanted to go with. well, when they put the 2.5" catback on, before they hooked up the muffler i had the guy start it and rev it and OMG! it sounded so amazing! i was debating cutting off my muffler for a while. it didn't even sound like a V6. it sounded like a mean *** muscle car. something like a z28 camaro with straight pipes. but i don't think ill end up doing that, just going to put some magnaflow mufflers, debating if i should go true dual or not.

ill suggest not going with flowmaster, they over charge for their products, you could pick up magna flows and get the same result for alot cheaper
