Just ordered Strup test pipes directly from Strup--a little bit expensive $228 for product and shipping. Also ordered the CEL Fixe from e-bay motors. Though I have an 02 simulator that daddy Gwoods (professional diaper changer) sent me for free. in case the CEL fix does not work. Surprisingly, it seems the 03 and 04 G's don't have the CEL problem. I want to save my cats and use up the O2 sensors as I plan to install new ones by next year or in 2010 anyway. I intend to install at the end of the month when my oil change is due.

On the Strup website, the price of the test pipes is $300. I called the sales dept and spoke with Charlie. He gave the discount at $228.

Some test pipes are 2.5" in diameter and some are 2.25" in diameter. Anyone know the advantage or disadvantage of either? I would think that the 2.5" diameter pipes woul allow for more flow than those of the 2.25" diameter. Any take on this by anyone?

Would after market headers cause our vehicles to fail emission testing? I am looking at Strup headers and Nismo/Stillen Swaybars next, for 2009.
