ok i am seeing several diff. test pipes on websites and ebay and such, some of them have o2 sensor holes and some don't? whats the deal, do i need it or not? are the ebay pipes any good? also some of the pipes also have little brackets on them like the KYO one from phase2, are they necessary?

any help is appreciated, thanks

I JUST put the Enjuku one on my S13 today. It had no O2 sensor hole.

Yeah I have one from ebay on my car....

I works good for me, I mean I havent had any problems with it. I really dont think you could go wrong as far as the brand, its just a pipe

I have one too.

BTW, those brakets are so you can put your old cat's 'shell' around it to make it look like a cat and not a test pipe. Definately not necessary...especially for us Florida boys. ;-p

Are you going to the Drift Showoff at Homestead this weekend? I'll be taking the 2-day clinic...come say what's up if you show up.

Curious question, I gutted my stock cat for a cheap testpipe and if I upgraded to a 3" testpipe do you think I will feel a difference or will be any at all?

a testpipe will stink like sulfur. trust me get a high flow cat. if u get caught without a car you can get into some serious trouble (in VA at least).

Well, you have to have the pipe w/ the brackets...like this one:http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...33629

And my car doesn't stink like sulfur. Sounds like someone might have carbon build up!

Not sure...a buddy of mine has it done. The flanges are on the bottom IIRC.

Just wanted to say today was awesome. I learned so much from the Drift Day crew. Tomorrow should be even better. Course is a little small though. :-\ *Yawn* Time to get to bed!

Did you go out? I was the understeer king yesterday...I don't know what happened; I had some good runs (for me) in the morning but then I lost all front grip. I thought I broke an enlink but now I think it was the front tires. Anyway, maybe we can meet up some time in palm beach so you can check out the car.

I live in Lake Worth...hypoluxo and jog. Email me at [email protected] and I'll give you my number. If you want to check out my car as a reference, I'll come by if time permits (I sometimes work long hours during the week, especially at the end of the year).

As for the drifting yesterday, I got the front wheels/tires on a balancer today...the tires are totally cupped. I was running high tire pressure on the mini course Saturday and they did really well...I guess they didn't like the same pressure on the track. The tread blocks are all uneven now. Everyone that sees them now agrees that was the obvious problem but if I had more experience I probably could have managed something. I didn't plan on changing the fronts out, but next time I'll bring some spares. Too bad you couldn't make it on Saturday...I did really well then. There's always next time! :)
