test pipe
whats a good 3 inch test pipe for my 93 240sx, i already have an apexi n1 catback. and can i also use this test pipe for the sr20???

Its a stupid piece of foot long tube. No company makes a supreme one over another. Yes if you get it, it will fit with an SR swap but since its only about $25 to get at a muffler shop who cares about adaptability.
Now if your actually talking about the downpipe thats a who different issue (though i doubt any one manufacturer makes a special one over another.)

Check this out:
I went to a local shop to see if they woudl build me a test pipe. This big fat native-looking fellow (seemed nice enough at first glance) wallows up to the counter. I pose my question to him and ask if that is something they can take care of. He says jovially, "Yeah, sure we'll do that... It'll cost 58.. (I'm waiting for him to say dollars) THOUSAND dollars!" Sarcastic prick! He goes on to lecture me about the EPA and the $28,000 fine if he got caught, and the $30,000 I'd owe him while he looks for a new job..... and nobody would hire him if he did something like that, etc. This self-rightous idiot was just waiting for some 26 year old jerk like myself to wander in and ask such a question, so he could unload his "funny" little schpeeel upon! I quietly explained the fact that he had not yet built a relationship with me yet that would justify or allow such a friendly conversation. And he had ought to learn to deal with people more gently if he were to have a successful career in the lucrative field of customer service. We both had a good laugh... him, for me being the object of his self-serving witty speach.. and me, for realizing I would never have to see this pathetic pile of flesh again in my life! On to the next muffler shop.. hope the next guy doesn't take himself as seriously as he did... some sort of Jesus Christ complex.
