So I got my test pipe. Umm what is that plug looking thing for? Is that for the o2 sensor? Or do I just leave the o2 sensor hanging around lol

And what are the two brackets for? I'm just going to use the same bolts and stuff from my current cat to install it...I'm confused as to what those 'brackets' mount upto??

By brackets i'm reffering to the things it looks like its resting on:

I don't need to use those brackets do I?

it's possible that that's just a reference picture since all test pipes look basically the same.

The bung is for a wideband if you have one or if you want to run your stock sensor there for some reason you can.

It doesn't matter if the brackets are on top or bottom.

It's just a piece of pipe.

The brackets face down to hold the stock cat heat shield.

The bung is for an O2 but i believe it is too small for the stock o2 sensor.

The reason the bung is there is for the obd2 cars with 2 o2 sensors unless you have a bung in your header.

Good luck.
