I have a stock 1995, S14 240SX. I want to replace my stock Cat with a test pipe. Where I live emissions doesn't matter. So, I wanted to know where to find a good set of instructions on how to do this. Also, I didn't see a rear O2 sensor attached to the Cat, but I wanted to make sure that there isn't any weird crap that will be a problem. When I look under the car, it looks like I should be able to just unscrew the existing Cat and replace it with a test pipe. Would I need to buy a new set of gaskets or anything? I have an OBDII ECU, if that matters. I know some 95's have the OBDI. Any help would be appreciated.

just buy an ebay test pipe, and it should come with the gaskets, it will also more than likely have a o2 bung, if you can weld a plug bolt in of just get some loc-tite and put the on there

Thanks, but won't that disable my rear O2 sensor? Does the O2 sensor only check emissions and tell the computer that they aren't up to code? Or does that O2 sensor affect the fuel mixture? If all it does is turn the SES light on, I don't care. I pulled my SES bulb. But, if putting in the new test pipe affects my fuel mixture, I might not do it. I'm sorry that some of my questions are newbish. Thanks for all help.

you shouldent have a O2 sensor on the cat...but i would sugest..taking the car down and having 2 flanges welded on to match the test pipe flange...allthou..you wont see much of a gain with the oem system..you might reconsider a ebay elcheepo system with test pipe included..

Thanks for the input. Yeah, I think I will get an Ebay pipe. So, has anyone seen a set of detailed instructions for this online? I haven't found any yet.
