ok guys, I just bought a 3" test pipe from heavy throttle performance and i had a question.... WILL IT BOLT UP TO MY RB25DET??? I'm getting mckinney motor mounts along with a mckinneymotorsports downpipe... but the 2 ends of the test pipe are "twisted" by like 45 degrees... is it supposed to be like that? cuz are'nt cat converters like both lined up?... here's a pic so maybe u guys will know what i'm talkin about... it bolted up to my apexi gt spec exhaust fine though, but will it bolt up to my downpipe? The gaskets were in pretty bad shape, all bent n stuff, probally from shipping.

That's the way my resonator is on my S14 (no, it's not a cat on the S14). I have seen some test pipes where one of the flanges rotates, tho, and that seems like a more forgiving setup.

That is perfectly fine. Mine was that way from an ebay vendor and it works. Mine bolted right up to a Apexi dual N1. I also have a after market downpipe from Australia for the Skyline. So the DP is set up with the same measurements as the stock Skyline. Long story short... it will fit just fine.

I recieved a test pipe from N7R and it had one of those rotating flange on it. I returned it because the end was flared but it was wavy. I didn't think it was going to seal the exhaust. Poor quality. But other companies might have better products.
