Well guys, last night after a week of discussions with a nissan dealership I got the chance finally "on my only day off this week" to go test drive the new Z. I want to get the enthusiast model, but all the had there to test was a touring. Anyways let me tell you all... .... ... AWWWWW!!!! so sweet! The exhaust note of the new Z is so mean yet so different. Its not a sound I have ever heard before. I really like the gauges inside, especially at nighttime. The feel of the steering and suspension was amazing, the steering wheel was so accurate and touchy, but at the same time not too touchy! The suspension was strong and soft. Well, I am making contradicitons here every time I try to explain this car....lol. Acceleration was killer, and it had plenty of pull in 4th gear at 2000rpms.

The only things I would have to say negativlely about the car is that floor mats are an OPTION, and not STANDARD on the Z. Also I wish they would of made the base model with a vlsd and hid lights. There is a rev warning light on the speedometer every time you reach 5000 rpms which I don't like. And lastly I didn't think the ****pit was as big as I thought it was gonna be.

The Z I am hopfully getting will be around $28858 becuase of the add-on of floor mats, heh.

You all keep your fingers crossed for me. I got someone who is buying my s14 from me if he can sell his stock civic, which I doubt will be a problem.

What about the cd player being behind you? Was that as bad as previously described?

cd player.......um the z had a radio?.....I thought that the exhaust was radio enough....lol! JK!

I think the enthusiast "not sure on this but don't really care if I am wrong" is a single disc and is in the raio itself.

Lucky you, coming out of work from the mall yesterday i spotted a sweet black one with a really nice aftermarket grill setup. So I drive el nismo right up to it (3-4 ft away and get a good look) next thing I know the owner was tapping on my car, must of thought I was a theif or something.

im lucky enough to work at a dealership that sells nissan, honda, mercedes, VW, jeep, porsche, audi, and bmw. i get to drive the Z's all the time to get gas and delivering them and i agree, they are bada$$ cars. yea i love the sound of them, they kind of remind me of a porsche sound but a little different. the only thing i dont like is the flip up thing where the screen is on the dash, it is real flimsy and seems cheap, but everything else is cool. the track model is sweeeeeeeet!!!!!
