so just did a test drive this evening and when i got in i was really surprised to see a sunroof. cause i had tested the car at another dealer and none of theirs had this option. when i asked the dealer about it he didn't really know anything and said maybe it was after market. but again he wasn't sure. but nothing on the window info sheet mentioned the sunroof or an extra price for it. anyone have any more info on this? i had to leave right after the drive so i couldnt check if any other one had it.

The sunroof in that vehicle is aftermarket. Nissan does not offer a sunroof as a factory option.

Don't know, but here's a great looking roof. I suspect this is a factory sunroof available in Japan.

There is definitely a sunroof offered for the Japanese market. It was not carried over to the US model.

The green SL listed in that ebay ad above is being sold as new from that Texas dealer. Maybe it's a dealer installed option that only certain dealers do? And seeing as the original poster is from CA and the ebay ad is from TX we can assume they're not looking at the same vehicle! It sure looks well done anyhow.
