Yep. I hadn't even been able to wax the the car yet the paint was so new. Along come that bad storm through the south, the same one that hit Enterprise and killed those highschoolers, and tore shingles from our roof which smashed into my parked Q45.... Bad scratches and scrapes right at the drivers side fender up near the Windshield as well as the hood in that same area......

I begin to wonder if I can catch a break with the cosmetics of this car... about 22 days after she gets painted she gets debris damage. Oh yeah a shingle ripped off my sun roof wind shield as well. At least it lived up to it's name by sacrificing itself to protect the paint on the roof...ripped right off but didn't allow the shingle to scratch my roof to hell...

That was one bad storm fellas.. we had a tornado not 13 miles from here come screaming in off the ocean, but it hit nothing! Thank the Good Lord for that because it was caught on video and looked real mean. That storm blew all night long and half the morning.

Hope everyone was saved from any damage..

Later

Sorry man, what a bummer!!! At least your car didn't take a direct hit, and YOU didn't take a direct hit.

CA earthquakes not looking so bad now, only every 25-50 years....

Sorry to hear that. I have the same luck sometimes. Like the other day I put 2 coats of wax on my car and some little @$#! eggs my car. Do you have comprehensive coverage? Love that green color by the way.

I was in Emerald Isle last weekend for a quick get away. It was very scary waking up on Friday and seeing all that bad weather coming. It passed right over us though.

I'm coming back down in May for a week. We will have to meet up so you can let me see what's it like to drive a pristine Q! I need to see your car lot too!

I'm glad you're ok and sorry to hear about the new damage to your fresh paint. It amazes me how some people can own a car for 10 years and not have a scratch, chip, dent , bump or any cosmetic blemishes after such a long period of time. I had my car for a year and a half and had to repaint my rear bumper (due to being mildly bumped from the rear), got a couple of small dings (no doubt from other courteous shoppers at parking lots), my hood suffered a couple of rock chips from trucks on the highway, and my front bumper trim has a couple of spots that need attention too. The only thing I'm greatful for is that I don't have any rust.

Yeah. The bad parts of the storm hit about 14 miles east of Emerald Isle at Atlantic beach (Other end of Island). and Morehead City.. Worst part was a little farther east of that.... crazy that you were here for that. Did you hear the wind blowing for 14 straight hours?? Crazy I say!

I left the car lot due to me be honest and the owner not following to the letters of the law....Nuff said about that.

The car is not quite prestine, but with all the work I've done to it, it certainly looks ten times better then when I was in IN and OH with the NICO nuts last June. They wouldn't recognize her now..
