When I first bought my car, it averaged 26 mpg. It was fine for a while, but it seems like the last couple months or so I'm getting terrible gas mileage. Since my last fillup, I've used a little over half a tank and only went about 100 miles. I'm not using the a/c, I'm not driving any differently, and I've always used the same 93 octane gas. What could be causing this?!?!

I had similar problems - then fail CA smog check. After about $1000 diagnostic and fixing at the dealership - it turns out to be a PVC valve needs to be replace.

So change your 240SX PVC and put in a new Oxygen sensor.

You mean PCV (positive crankcase ventilation) valve right?
