hey guys whats goin on this is terrellshedrick i had made a new name cuz my other account got messed up. 3 weeks ago some of you guys know what happen to my car some of you dont. my car started shaking on me out of nowhere driving so i pulled over and then my car wouldnt go over 20 mph. i got a jump from my father sicne he's a state police trooper and the next day the mechanic was telling me that the timing belt, and 3 of the cylinders were messed up. after a couple days he told me that the AEM COLD AIR INTAKE THAT I HAVE WASNT PRODUCING ENOUGH AIR FOR THE CAR TO BREATHE, AND HE TOLD ME OUR CARS ARE NOT MADE TO CHANGE OUT THE AIR BOX. WHEN YOU GET YOUR INTAKE INSTALLED MAKE SURE YOU GET IT DONE PROPERLY. SO $420 DOWN THE DRAIN AFTER A YEAR. A PART OF ONE OF THE CAMS BROKE OFF AND REPLACED THE TIMING CHAIN. PLEASE LEARN FROM MY MISTAKE, DON'T TAKE THE CHANCE OF SPENDING $3,000 TAKE CARE OF YOUR CAR TO THE MAX!...

Sorry to hear about your troubles. Something doesn't sound right with your mechanic's claim on the AEM, but hey.

Like I said man..you have less than 60K on it and have owned it for less than 3 yrs. That would have been covered uneder warranty and if Nissan tried to give you the run around, the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act protects you the consumer! But hey..it's your money...you can either be an educated consumer or a non-educated one..your choice...

its all good thanks for everything. my pops aint want to listen but hell with it i should have my car back up n running. more to come with me this year. n trying to get a bike by winter..
