whats up everyone. as the title states I have oil in my intake plenum. heres the story. was going from a roll with a kid in an sti and pulled 3rd gear and lost mostly all power and began pouring smoke. once i opened the hood I saw it was partially from my pcv valve on the driver side. upon further inspection 2 spark plugs were bad which i thought was my cause for mis fire. yesterday i bought 2 new pcv's and 6 new plugs and began changing. once i took my balance tube off I saw what I believe is the end of my summer. oil pooled on the bottom of the intake. I got out as much as I could hoping it was just the bad pcv's but it was not. after the new parts the car still runs the same. oil psi is still good with about 85psi on warm up and 40 at temp and there was no oil on the inlets to the TB's. I think that this is an internal issue and not the turbos but I am not sure. I just dont know if there is something external it could possibly be before I start tearing this thing down. oh also, while the car was running i pulled the oil cap and the vacuum was insane, it was practically sucking the cap on. I think this is a bad oil skirt on one or a few of the pistons. let me know what you guys think.
thanks
