Hey guys

The tensioner stud on my rb25 was sheered off in the block i got what was left of the stud out. Im woundering if i can just stick a bolt in it or do i have to get a new stud

any input would help

personally i would want to use the stud and not a bolt. i don't see any real reason why the bolt would'nt work.

Def use a new stud. The stud and nut combination gives better clamping loads and distribution than a bolt. That Tensioner is a critial part so you'd want a stud.

im having trouble finding a stud i know its a m10x1.5x70 im not sure on the length but the idler bolt is the same length

the boltdepot.com has every bolt or stud and nut made i bought my crankshaft bolt through them you should try them out
