Not to long ago (like in Nov.) I installed some wicked tuning tension rods, but just recently my steering wheel has been jerking to the side wenever I go over a bump. But not just a normal jerk, it jerks to the side pretty hard. Now im wondering, is it suppose to jerk this hard? Someone please enlighten me im starting to get concerned....

I do realize i used the word jerk alot .lol.

Did you get an alignment afterwards? You probably didn't set them to the same length as the stock ones and caused a toe out condition.

Is this the only thing that you installed? Or was this one of several parts that went on before this problem ocurred?

What front alignment specs did you get (camber/castor/toe)? Are you running coilovers?

I mean my car jerks around a bit going over bumps, but that is to be expected with stiff suspension unless you have your bumpsteer set to exactly zero, which is unlikely

You may want to pop your head in there and make sure everything is still connected and in good working order. Then check you tie rods and ends.

Check out your suspension, tires, steering rack etc. Could be any number of things from tire wear, bushings, control arms, etc.

Does it pull to just one side, or both sides depending on bump. Could just be bump steer, is your car low?

why the hell did you get new tension rods with heim joints if you weren't planning on running different alignment specs that stock?

Naw, i have the stock shocks and springs.

naed240sx, i found the wicked tuning parts for about the same as OEM replacements. So I said "wat the hell, Y not get these". Plus wen my car is in good shape and i have money, I do plan to drift.
