I have Project Silvia pillow pall t/c rods. DO NOT get urethane bushings!!!!!!! This has been discussed in MUCH detail over in Suspension forum as it WILL cause your LCA(s) to crack!!!!

I got mine for $155 shipped on eBay. They sell them for $180 + shipping on their site. http://www.projectnissan.com

Ouch.

Well, looks like I'll replace the OEM's - No need to drop $200 on these.

T/C rods are all the same I bet (I bet Alan would be able to verify this tho) I say go for em Greg. Install is about 20 minutes, and after getting an alignment, the improvement is very noticeable. THe only time that there is any negative to them is if you take a dip or speedbump too fast. Very harsh. Just drive slow over big bumps;)

Me too, the OEM bushings on mine are leaking, so I think its time to seriously consider the Pillow ball T/C's.

They aren't all made of the same materials, quality, etc.

If you want a good quality product that has a company like ours behind it ... then go SPL.

$153 shipped for the tension rods.

so would the higher chance of LCA cracking apply to the Nismo tension rod bushings also or no? i hope not since i'd like to think Nismo does their homework before selling anything...

As I understand, the Nismo bushings are just hard rubber, not polyurethane. So no, they should be fine.

Go for the pillowball rods. FWIW, when I installed mine, the ride quality actually seemed to improve in addition to the steering response (my old ones were completely shot).

Pillowball rods all the way, the response and "feel" are much improved over stock w/ rubber or urethane. IMO the ride comfort is improved over stock t/c rods. But you should do what makes ya feel good!

What are the material differences between the Cusco, Tanabe, Tein, Battle Version, and SPL tension rods?

I got mine from Nismo (Courtesy Nissan) for $32 each plush shipping. I'm not sure what you're looking for in performance, but I noticed an awesome gain in stability (although that may be because my old ones were torn to s**t. :)
