Took bigger air tools than I had, but I got it done.

Installed a new control arm for the front right and Hardrace Pillow-Ball Rods for the S13.

That's sexy! Very nice, I can't wait to get some either Tein or these Hardrace versions on my ride.

Hardrace is actually from Taiwan.

Pretty much covered in previous posts.

as far as I can tell the only difference is that the ones in this threads have a dust boot. They both use Heim joints, on the SPLs the heim joint is exposed but on the others its not.. Not really a big deal, because heim joints are cheap and they can be replaced really easy... Im thinking about replacing all my heim joints on my components since I bought them used... Will at least take them apart and inspect/grease.

I'm pretty sure these have more than just a boot... I don't know many details myself but they seem to be oil filled inside

not sure what you want me to say lol

I get a lot more responsive steering and braking, along with better grip in tight turns.

You said it all now. Thanks . I just love hearing that a new part makes a difference you can feel. Glad you're enjoying it.

Yea it was definitely a NOTICEABLE upgrade that I would recommend to anyone looking to cut out some body roll and get better handling response.

Body roll? Shouldn't affect it at all.

How about impact harshness on road imperfections?

Yeah, definitely has nothing to do with body roll. I drove Audiovisiony's silver Y33 with Tein tension rods and could hardly tell a difference over my OE units in terms of harshness which is why I'm definitely doing this mod.

Well I notice less body roll... not sure if a new control arm would cause that but I notice it. Not sure how old my other suspension parts are either, but the harshness increase is negligible.

nice.......have installed an adjustable links too? what kind of FUCA did you use? i was thinking to install SPL's but spl FUCA is out for remodelling and daryl said it would be out prolly may. he said it's only $300 versus the v1 fUCA which is $335. There's too many things to fix on my q. right now if i am driving it i am hearing like the passenger tire is about to give out esp when hitting bumps. i know pretty sure it's the UPPER LINK and tension rods too. not sure if the ball joint now is affected. i hope not, that would be another $$$ to spend on my Q.

Saving up my $$ for the links and fucas. The rods already dug a hole in my pocket.

Just put on the FSTB and WOW. I have never felt a car that responsive and precise! I just can't wait to finish the rest of my suspension...
