I'm under the Drivers side wheel well removing the Strut accumulator and related active fluid tubing and I see my tension rod's bushing looking split in several places and have what appears to be dry rot.

I need to replace it and was wondering how many Nico warriors have the adjustable tension rods? My question here being does it really make a difference or, having to do it over again, would those who have installed the adjustables just stuck with OEM?

I've replaced the upper link and put in the steel braded brake lines. I've noticed at the caliper end of the braded line, the doughnut doesn't have the extended arm looking thing that fits into the slot. Does this cause any leaks at the caliper after it's been on a while?

Another question to those who have removed the active components from their Q's. The two big tubes and one small that run next to the subframe along the length of the car appear to be active fluid tubing and I just want to know if I can remover all that as well. I am taking the active reservoir out as well, so what's the best way to drain it so I don't get green slime all over the place? I did not find any drian plug. I've removed the AirBox and have plenty of room to work.

I've been happy with my adjustable tension rods, really appreciate the caster adjustability.
