You are more than incorrect, sir!

Do the research and quit posting erroneous assumptions.

Well i rather ask for fast answers.Im screw i bought it.They are adjustable and i can make the short one the same size. The reason why it's smaller is they say because the steering. So now i have a short driver side and a long passenger tension rod.Should i just adjust them the same size?

You adjust the length to get the wheel exactly set to the alignment spec as measured on a Hunter alignment rack. Again, you have no business doing ANYTHING to a motor vehicle other than maybe filling the fuel tank until you gain a BASIC understanding of GENERIC automotive principles, much less the complexity of the Q. Why I keep suggesting a newer basic little car that doesnt require surgery would be a better{and safer for you and anyone around you} vehicle for you at your current level of automotive knowledge

ditto, for the what the guy said up above. the tension rods are a key ingredient into wether you will be making a quick trip to wal mart, or spearing into oncoming traffic trying to turn the wheel ****ting yourself. plus chances are you ve probably already turned them in your hands killing whatever chance you might have had of getting a decent aligment. go beer. take it to a shop homie.

I do know a lot about cars just not as much which to be honest even mechanics still learning about themMatter fact if you'd understand why im asking it's because im dropping the car.Already got the rear camber arms and traction bars.

I wouldn't give this car up for anything. My opinion you know nothing about cars but to bash people and not help. That's all i been getting from you.

I rather keep this car and learn then have a Honda k thanks for no help im out.

Time to jump on a better forum group.

P.S.I take the filling gas in a car as calling me stupid. Thanks that's why i changed the valve cover gaskets, took everything apart and put it together right.I don't like people like you Qship.

131-in-a-Ls:

I haven't installed them yet and will be install at my school and aligned. We have a hinter there so everything will be alright thanks.

As a research project why not measure the relationship bwtween tension rod length, differential, and degrees of CASTER.......................as I remember it is roughly the same as CAMBER in that 1/8" is ~~ 1 degrees.

CASTER is staggered to correct frame alignments error which cause steering drift.

Early on [back in 90s] there were optional [dealer item] Tension rods used to correct drift

You start out with them perfectly equal within say 1/32" then on alignment machine adjust them to bring caster to exact nominal 5,45>7,15 ~ 6.5 degrees

Even 0.25 degree difference can cause drift.

And where are you using those "rear traction bars"?

You don't need traction bars if you arn't overstressing the car and all of its components.

Traction bars just prevent wheel hop.

From what i can tell, The Q45 does'nt let loose off the line unless your force it or have crappy tires.
