TENSION ROD REPLACEMENT!!!

i need 2 kno how 2 replace my tension rod on my 1990 240sx and maybe even the lower control arm just incase.

Dude you're jokin right?

Like...theres a bar, 2 bolts. Unbolt, remove, and install new.Maybe you don;t know what they look like because if you did you would realize how easy it is.

What are the symptoms??

edit: actually, I think theres 2 bolts on one end, so thats 3 bolts total. Been a while since I did em.

oh ok i already took tha old one off but i just wasnt sure if it was that easy.

You got it in the bag man, go to it!

You don't need an alignment from just the TC rods, although if you're doing the lower control arms n ball joints then yes.

ok thats good but if i do need an alignment though i start my new job at tire kingdom in a few days so i should be straight.

Lurking is a good thing. High post counts don't mean experience or knowledge. It just means either 1. you got alot to say 2. post whore or 3. you're a moderator that has some obligation to keep their respective boards on track and it takes a few more posts to get them back on track... ok i just got tha tension rod it today and replaced it but once i hit around 50 mph tha steering wheel starts shaking and it pulls 2 tha left so im probably gonna need an alignment right? and wat is that shaking anyone know?

could be rack and pinion steering bushing
