Hey guys!
Does anyone have a spare tension rod handy I could get some simple measurements from? Mine are torn, so I'm not looking to remove them yet, but I'm trying to compare J30 rods to later-style Z31 rods. Z31 tension rods have polyurethane aftermarket support; which would be beneficial for anyone looking to replace these bushings for under $65.

Tension rods from a Z32 fit. The bushings are different size so cannot replace them but the arms will bolt up.

I bought the SPL adjustable tension rods for a Z32 and bolted them to my J30 with no problems.

Interesting! Thanks for the info Swim. The Z31 rods are on the way, I'm assuming they won't work; but we'll see! It would be nice to have a cheap alternative/upgrade!
