well i'm almost complete with my KA-T however i have a fuel issue...

i have an SAFCII with a wideband 02 and 370cc injectors.....the injectors are bad and i wont be using it anymore..

what i wanted you guys opnion on was should i go with a FMU or buy another set of 370cc's?? this will be in a t3/t4 stock MAF and i want about the max hp that stock MAF can handle...i also have a 255lph walbro fuel pump so using a FMU will work...ill probably be using a 8:1 disk....FMU and 370's are about the same price, yea???

what do you guys think? this will probably be about a 2-3 month period?? before i upgrade bigger MAF and injectors.....

thanks

try and get s15 injectors as u will appreciate the extra room for more boost. plus u are still in the area where the safc can still control that size injector. but if the wallet is telling u other wise, go with the 370s since they are cheaper and even if u got them cleaned, ur still under the s15 injectors price.........

yes my wallet isnt to happy with me right now thats why i need something for about 2-3 months so my $$$$ can recover itself lol....

you wouldnt reccommend a FMU? i heard they are great for a few months..and i would be able to buy a NEW FMU as for buyin 370's and sendin them in to get checked ( riskin the chances of bad results) they come out to be the same price

well for the quick fix u could go the fmu route but the reason y i suggest the injector route is b/c the use of the fmu eliminates ur need of the safc....... so basically thats 200 bux not needed to have been spent unless used with larger injectors. peeps on here have used fmu's successfully so i guess for the quick fix 8:1 fmu would work also

Injectors are the easiest route. Plug and play, no need to route lines mount the fmu ect.~Sam

actually i would consider the FMU more plug and play because the injetors require tuning...but i know how to use the SAFCII so that wouldnt be a problem..

i guess it seems people agree 370's are better for temporary few months use? i assumed it would have been the FMU

Since you already have the SAFC and know how to use it, I would just get another set of 370's, or get your's fixed, pop'em in and away you go. You will get a better tune and drivablity using the SAFC as compared to the FMU.

Shameless plug- I happen to have a set of 370's that I'm not using, and a FMU that is no longer needed.....
