Hey guys. I'm on a road trip with my son w/ child seat and after spending a week at my parent's house, it looks like I'm coming home with alot more stuff then when I left.

Here's the problem: I have so much more stuff now, I'm having a hard time packing all the stuff in the passenger compartment while having the child seat in the back. It looks like everything would fit if I had my boy sit up front with me while the extra cargo takes up the back seat.

My question: Is there a way to disable the passenger airbag temporarily for the return trip? I know some newer 2 seaters have a disable switch or automatic sensor and I've also heard of simply pulling a fuse/relay to disable the air bag. Do any of you know what I can do to make this happen? I'll be checking this thread throughout the evening b/c I plan to leave tomorrow morning. All help is appreciated! Thanks

There's an Airbag fuse in the kick panel fuse box.
Its a 10 amp fuse.
Looking at the box its the 5th fuse from the bottom right.
It will have a 3 amp fuse to the left of it and a 7.5 amp fuse on the right side of it.
Hope that helps budski !!

yep like yoda says, just pull that fuse to disable the system. a red light for air bag will appear on the cluster to show you its inoperable.
