Great website, I just found it today. I'm glad to see so many people own a J30. I thought I was a dying breed.

I've owned a 93 J30 for some time now and have just now started having issues with it. the stock Bose finally died on my. I've been reading the other posts about that so I'm all caught up with what to do there. My next big issue is the A/C in the last 2 weeks. I've noticed it blows more cold air than warm. I've had it set to 83 and it still blows A/C. The outside temp is 77. Is it the sensor that might be bad? I've check the coolant levels and they are fine. Just drawing a blank with this one.

I'll post some pics soon, the 93 J30 is Black w/ Grey interior and I think it's in excellent condition. Need some new wheels and rims though. Not really liking the ride I'm getting now and the rims are starting to rot.

I'll be on this site often now that I know there's a more of me out there.

Welcome, Brendan. As you have discovered, there is a wealth of material here for those who search and read.

Look forward to seeing your 1993 J30 in the member's rides.

There is a feedback air loop in the system. When I pulled my radio out I cleaned it.

The little port looking thing next to the left side of the radio is what i am talking about.

Mine had alot of dust on the temp sensor (visible from the opening with the trim off)

I used a vacuum to suck out the dust in the tube and then used contact cleaner to remove the remaining residue.

Not saying this will resolve your issue (may actually be bad) but if your car is not determning inside temp then this would be my first area of concern.
