Ok, so my temp gauge goes in and out. I replaced the sending unit with one from the KA (I'm no dummy) and it still cuts in and out. We figured out that the OTHER plug, right next to the sending unit is bad. I guess it send the signal to the gauge cluster or something. I don't know. The point is:

1) It's bad.2) I don't know what it's called3) I need a new one and don't know where to get it from.

A friend said it was called a temp bulb or something. Anyway, what do I buy? First one to say temperature sending unit get a kick in the face.

If anyone wants a pic to verify, I can supply it, I'm just feeling lazy. This is kind of a long post for such a stupid question...

Temp sending unit.

The 2 prong unit is the engine coolant sensor for the ECU. Or head temp sender.

The one prong unit is called a thermal transmitter in the FSM. If you call up your local nissan dealer, they should be able to tell the difference between the 1 and 2 prong unit in FAST.

Is there a USDM motor that I can get it off of or is it a special order kinda thing? Can I get it off a KA? I need the single prong one.

P.S... Kick to the face.
