Yeah Yeah I know 3 posts within minutes says that i need help, but The darn car won't throw out heat. Even in 41 degree weather. During this past summer @100+ degrees, no cold air came out either. The first thing I was told when I went to a local Nissan dealership that services Infiniti was that I was going to need a new head unit for my temp controls. Yeah it blanks out, but really, could a $1100 piece really be keeping me in the cold. I had the AC tested during the heat wave and I was told that I have tons of the old R-12 in there, and once againthe problem was the head unit. Any chance of me replacing that unit with a new one will fix my problems. Q45tech, AzHitman.....????

Yes, the AC head unit could cause your problem, I'd try finding one from a dismantler first.. The AC head unit is not know for having problems so the likely hood of getting a bad one from a salvage yard is unlikely. If you don't have a shop manual it would be a very good investment....................:thumbup

I think Jerry Tucker in San Diego rebuilds the HVAC control panel fairly reasonably, check his web site http://www.jerrytucker.com
