I was on my way to work this morning and i noticed that the temperature gauge kept climbing to the highest point. When i slowed down, the gauge would fall back into the normal area. My car is a 95 240sx. It was probably 50 degrees this morning, so hopefully i didn't do any damage to the engine. does anyone have any thoughts or suggestions on what to do? THANKS!

I've had my car for almost 10 years without any problems other than replacing the clutch, brakes and tires. I love my car...it's saddens me that it's finally showing its age. I'm sure this is part of normal wear and tear...i just hope it's not too expensive.

Hey I have a 96 and my temp gauge goes up and down as I accelerate. My sesor was jacked up and was loose so that it gave false readings all the time. Check the sensor on the right (there are two). They are located right where the upper radiator hose connects to the intake mani. the one on the left is squareish and red. I can post pics if you need them.
