i would post this in technical but it seems like nobody is ever in there anymore.

as soon as i turn the key one click in my car to give power to everything the temp sensor in the cluster shoots way past the H even when the car hasnt been driven in days. so far ive replaced the gauge itself in the cluster whith one from a sohc cluster and it does the exact same thing. ive also replaced the two temp sensors in the motor with new ones. since it happens every time i give it power im thinking some wiring is messed up but all my grounds are grounded and the correct wire was soldered together when i did my harness according to

http://www.frsport.com/SR20DET-Swap-Eng ... _t_26.html

blue/black stripe wire is the water temp signal to the dash and thats what i have so im not sure how much more wiring could go into a small thing like this.

any help is appreciated.

Yeah, I had a friend that sometimes when he accelerated his temp rose more than it should under load and back down a bit when he let off the gas.

My temp gauge just tends to bounce skyward erratically, throw it in N and it goes normal, give a little gas and it starts reading normal again too.

I am thinking the coolant temp sensor is my issue. But your could have to do with an odd ground or something?

Are your ground cables in good condition?
