Temp sensor (outside car) near condensor

Hi. New to the formum, I have a 84 Z31 turbo that is having issues with the air conditioner. (whats new?) The electronic display is showing -56 deg as the outside temp. The car has 3 sensors and I have been told that it could be the front variable resistor (thermistor) by the AC condensor which is not sending a value to the cars AC electronic box. How does one check it operational condition? thanks dd

hmm??? I have no idea, if az zbum pops in I'm sure he'll know, do you have a FSM I'd imagine the location should be in the manual
