i just installed my Z32 maf and the car is running like ****. all the old settings i have obviously does not work anymore.

however what did you guys do about the temp sensor? some people put resisters on it. but what ohm should i use?

also how does you guys cars idle? mine it would idle nice but once in a while it would stumble hard like its tryin to stall out. is that normal when you put the maf on?

also i read about structure240 saying that decel air helps idle. but i don't have a bov thats vta. so do i still need to do it? what kind of setup do you run structure?

i have the stock IAT in the intake still. the dec. air setting NE1 will help with idle alot. are you using a wideband? this is the onyl way to know for sure you got it right. the car could idle just fine at 10:1 afr. the in/out setting needs to be adjusted. also whne i first start up my car it can run very rough and lean for a couple seconds to am intues. when this happens i turn the NE1 number up .1-.2 until the idle stablizes then turn it back down.

for me in/out = 1/6dec. air 2.0.72.0

i'll take your advice on the decel air, but i still don't see how that would affect my idle if i'm not running a bov thats vta. thanks for the help though. but how did you get that temp sensor in the intake tract?

Just drill a hole, use a rbber gasket and some sheet metal screws or rivits. Hell you can even JB Weld it.

yea i just drilled a hole and have some black tape over it right now

there arent any performance gains from the z32 maf except that you can run more boost.

i cant explain how the dec. air settings afftect idle, but they do. mainly the middle number NE1.
