temp gauge not working

just installed rb 20 in 90 s13 and temp guge does not work so i installed an after market one but it does not work either the needle goes all the way to 280 degrees and i know the tach is not supose to read properly cuz its a single cam cluster but i thought it woul atleast try to work but its not doing anything any suggestions.

in order to use the stock cluster temp gauge u need to replace the temp sensor with the KA one

did you use the sender provided with the aftermarket gauge?

no i didnt replace it so i will do the temp sensor 2day and i didnt replace the aftermarket one duh i wasnt thinking.

just replace the Rb one with your KA one and ull be good to go as long as you wired it all up correctly

well i have a single cam if thats is any different from dohc sensor but i replaced the rb sensor with the sohc sensor and my temp still didnt workso i dont know wat it could be now but ill keep looking.
