temp gauge thread pitch

hi guys,

Was wondering if anybody knew the thread pitch/type for the temperature gauge water temp sensor 1 wire. Not the ECU water temp sensor.

I would like to insert a barbed fitting into this port, its not 1/8npt is it BSPT?

what is that sensor for anyway, the dash??

I doubt that its 1/8" anything, because the autometer temp sensors are 1/8" NPT and the sensor ur talking abt looks alot smaller. I'll go out and remove it tomorrow and go see just to be sure, since my head and s*** is already off.

it looks like its a M12 x 1.25 thread. This threaded in all the way with no problems:

yes this sensor is for the cluster temp gauge.
