hey guys, i need help with my temp. gauge. this never happenend before so i dont know what to do. well the problem is that every time i step on the gas the temperature gauge goes sync with it. so in other words as the rpm neddle goes up the temp neddle goes up. i have a feeling its electrical related. oh yea, the car is a 95 240sx if that helps. thanks in advance guys.

wow, that's a really odd problem.

You probably have a short somewhere. Hunting down electrical gremlins can be hell. The easy way would be to cut the wire coming from the temp sender in the intake mani, and on the back of the gauge cluster and simply run a new wire between the two. The temp gauge sender is seperate from the one the ECU uses, so it's malfunction is inconsequential in terms of the engine. Both are in the intake mani, one next to the other. The one closest to the head is the one for the gauge.
