Temp gauge not working

We were working on installing a deck when a wire went pop. Now the temp gauge isn't working? What to check?

Well, fuse probably blew. Check the fuses under the left side of the dash.

we did that..all were fine.

Your speedomter and tachometer are on that same fuse. If they still work, the fuse is good, and either the temp gauge or the sending unit is damaged.

Check page EL-86 and EL-87 in the service manual I linked you to.
