Temp & Gas Gauge Not Working

1991 Hardbody V6 4x4 300K miles. Went out the other day and the gas gauge worked fine then fluttered and suddenly went below Empty and the Temp. gauge went to below Cold. They haven't moved in two weeks. Filled the tank a few times and since once the low fuel light did come on so I filled up (and I mean FULL). Is there a fuse or fusable link that's gone south? Need a little help on this one summers coming and I'd like my Temp gauge and Gas working.

I ran in to an old man in the Safeway parking lot today with the same modle truck. Found out the he had the same problem. Turns out it's a resistor behind the dash gauges. Runs around 50 bucks.
