tem gauge

hi everybody i need help on my 240sx 1992. the temp gauge is not steady it's going all the way up and goes down. what's wrong

i dont know about the gong down but mine goes all the way up and stays there, its because inside the dash there is a control box that makes certain things in the dash run off of 6 volts instead of 12 and mine has a problem and my gauge is getting all 12 volts so if yours goes alll the way up and stays its probably the same problem and just get a aftermarket pillar gauge or dash gauge and wire it in, they are more accurate anyways

probably u got a loose terminal connector at the temp.sender

probably have a faulty temp sensor.
