I just bought a whole rear subframe off this dude who assured me it was an n/a setup. Upon disassembly I find it has the tt hubs with the tab on the top with the spacer for the ebrake. I am completely furious since i put alot of money and effort to pick this up. Is there a way to tell if the diff is a tt too? Chances are it is but I wanna make sure just incase some parts got swapped around or something. Yes I did search but I'm on my iPhone and it's hard to search for a specific question like this. Any input? Thanks

I assume this is from a z32? If the axles are TT splined your can figure the diff is too, if you want to verify, just measure the ring gear it will be 230mm

the TT has a 3.69 gear ratio and the N/A has a 4.083 ratio, is that why you pissed 'cause you wanted the 4.+ diff?

It's also a lot more work to get into an S chassis. OP, unless the guy swapped an R200 into the TT subframe (which isn't easy) it's more then likely a TT diff. I'd try and get your money back.

The TT Sub frame dose not have the damaners at the front of it the TT sub frame has HICAS The TT Diff is wider than the R200 in the S13 and the NA is a R200 with the ABS sensors

Open up the diff and count the number of teeth on the ring gear.49 teeth = Z32 n/a (same as a stock 240 open diff)47 teeth = Z32 TT

Z32 n/a w/ automatic have no heat sink on their diff covers, but are lsd's.Manual's do have the heat sink.
