Very nice man, looks good. This is a general question, but what are the advantages to a v-mount setup as opposed to standard?

most of the time, when a race car uses a v mounted setup it can be for a couple of reasons. some would say it decreases the possibility of any type of debris from impacting the intercooler, while others would say it aids in the cooling factor . i think it has alot to do with less piping equals less lagwhich will give you a much faster spool time.

vmounts are far more efficient when done properly, but can actually hurt performance if not properly ducted. It allows air to hit more surface area of both cooling planes, and actually allows the radiator and intercooler to act like a pacman mouth to use all possible cooling air.

Channeling of the air, and usually hood vents above the intercooler help direct the air in to cool then out before getting recycled into heat. Addtionally the shorter pipes allow for faster response due to less volume.

Looks like a good start to me. Make sure you set it up correctly duct wise and it will be killer. Unfortunately with an RB they also make the coolant a PIA to bleed. but eh-- its baller either way

+1 for the fab work and thinking outside the box, but to me you're doing something that just isn't necessary. There are guys making over 700whp with no overheating issues with a basic FMIC setup.

More attention to detail on the engine bay. I see a lot of grime and dirt buildup on everything and you're using cheap a** plastic T unions on the vacuum lines. Clean it up and keep it simple.

Yeh I know I could have went fmic but I wanted sumthing diffrent... didn't want the usual fmic. And yeh that was a cheap plastic fittin to get by temp. Buddy got a lil cut happy when cuttn other stuff. They wil soon be replaced. And every thing is lookn cleaner since I've been powder coating alot of parts latly
