That car is older than most of the guys here at NICO! I love it though... totally a utilitarian piece of machinery. Don't even spend money having a body shop paint it... just buy about 10 cans of flat black spray paint, tape off the windows and mirrors... and go nuts!!! Nice car man.

Im taking it to Macco for paint. My mom offered to pay for it to be painted so why the hell not? Im gona do some sanding on it before i take it to them. Thats how im getting it painted. Just without all the writing on it.

Hey now, that car is 1983, I was born in 1983 lol Mark, I think the color of that would look better than the first color choice you told me about the yellow color. hehe

umm, i think macco was the brand of paint everyone on this forum says to stay away from, i dont remember if it was macco or not, but im pretty sure, so please dont put that on ur car, and u have one HELL of a project there

Right on Bandit - That thing is A$$-UGLY!!

Go for the cheapo paint job - I had a CRX painted at Earl Scheib in 1992 for $129, and the damn thing's still shiny (I see it from time to time running around town).

You'll save some serious coin driving that thing around. Besides, you're gonna need it, since you got a girl now... LOL
