For $500 I would def. jump on that, and then promptly sell the rims to Bill.

$500 sounds very nice but dont be too quick o buy it. what exactly dose he mean when he says "Needs new top or roof assembly" ? is he talking about the frame of the convertible top? if he is you may want to find one before you buy the car. if it's just a new top and window (the cloth part) then it's one hell of a deal for $500

Or you can just remove the top and make a project car like AZhitman did.

What is this? We have $200 hatchback in our area too. Great budget project cars.

I think you should definitely look closely on new top or roof assembly he's talking about.

but yeah, not bad for $500.

I have given up on wheels at this point. I had to get new tires, so I put them on my wheels and once the weather breaks I am going to see what I can do to mine to make them look a little nicer.

why not just buy it and part it out??? i mean honestly worst case you can make some $$ on all sorts of parts..... not to mention its one less vert on the road and makes us true vert owners have a lil more of a golden nugget to sit on

the owner finally got back to me on it and said he sold it for 400 yesterday
