Hey sorry to jack this thread but do you happen to know the Rear diff measurements of a 510? Long story short... got jacked on trying to get a 240 diff.

I hear that R160s are 160mm across and that is wut the mesurements of this lsd is. I just need other measurements to make sure.

Oh buy the way anyone interested? Its suppose to be a NISMO. KAAZ USA said it looks like a Nissan lsd. But i need mesurements to make sure. I dont want to rip anyone off. It has the 8-bolt pattern 160mm diameter

ok....in your terms then.....you have a 2door Datsun 510 sedan.the only coupes ever built were JDM ( japanese domestic market ) only!a few have been privately imported into the US, and Aus/NZ....but only privately!they have a more slanted rear window, and the "full" rear tail lights ( they go right accross the back of the car ).most of them were 1800's.

depends on who you talk to here....they are called both 510's and 1600's. ( not many people call them bluebirds tho )

Exactly... We usually designate a 2 door car a coupe and a 4 door car a sedan but by definition a sedan can be either 2 or 4 door . So you are correct I have a 2 door sedan. Bluebird's are the coupe with the elongated tailights... How is the Ca18det treating you!!!

looking nice!Yeah, we get a lot of people here that get confused and call the 2door sedan a coupe too.my car is reasonably rough ( I'm far more interested in making it qo! )The CA is awesome, except I ****ed the ignitor....so looking for a new one before I can run the engine in properly!the first time we drove it ( with 175 tyres on the back ), it was still stepping sideways in 3rd gear!!! in the dry on tarmac so it'll be interesting to see how it goes with all the interior back in e.t.c.

we have only 1 coupe in NZ that I know of......and about 2 or 3 2door sedans.....and about 5 wagons.....the rest are all 4 door sedans!Pitty we have so little of variety of 510's in NZ....but we got enough 4doors to keep us happy! lol
