If you call Infiniti customer service at 1-800-647-7261 with your VIN number they can tell you if all recall issues were taken care of and all the repairs and maintenance done at an Infiniti dealership. If work was done at an independent they won't have it.

The first time I called Infiniti Consumer Affairs (1-800-662-6200), they gave me a copy of all of the service records of my car. Last time I called and asked to speak to the person who helped me there in getting a recall clearance letter, they told me that the US call center was moved from California to Canada, so I wasn't able to speak to her.

I just called the number I posted and the girl I talked to sounded like an American. I was amazed to find out the 2000 Infiniti Q45T I helped my daughter pick out had only two warranty repairs, a broken trunk lid spring and the key fob had to be reprogrammed. The previous owner must have had all his maintenance done at an independent because they had no records of any maintenance being done at an Infiniti dealer. Guess this jives with what he told me as to never having an problems with the car in the 49,844 miles he owned. They also said there were no recalls applicable to my VIN number.
