I have been saving some money up and i have just enough to get the Flex coilovers but now im thinking to my self thats alot of money to spend on coilovers and am wondering if other coilovers are out there that are just as good (I know they won't be EDFC capable) and for a good price. also Will the flex be able to sustain metro area Pot holes?

I'd get Megan Racing coilovers or KTS/SPL coilovers over the Flex's ANY DAY, and our sponsers sell BOTH of those models as well

+1 for the KTS Coilovers. They take about 2 weeks to get, but they are soooooo worth it. The ride is awesome (much better than any oem type spring/strut combo) and they hold the corners like crazy. Oh and they are a few hundred cheaper than the flex's

Tein makes great stuff.....so essentially its up to you....do you want to spend the money on a big name brand such as Tein or do you want to get something very effective for a little less and go with the KTS?

Im actually looking into the KTS and the Megan coils right now. Im going to go with either one because of the lower price but still effective as tein

I wanted the Flex's as well when I first started looking at coilovers. The EDFC was a big factor, but honestly, after you get the KTS set where you like the ride and handling, you really won't mess with the damper settings too much. At least I don't. With my HKS/AGX spring strut combo, I was always adjusting the dampers to try and find a good setting that was sporty and comfortable for the street. I figured coilovers would be the same, hence the want for the EDFC... well once I got the KTS on, the ride was soo freakin good, I didn't have to mess with the damper setting untill I lowered the car a little more. The matched damper to the spring rate really does make a difference. I'll stop rambling, but save the money from the EDFC and get a clutch or LSD or something 10x more useful
