Tein vs Kazama outer tie rods

Phase2 has a package that comes with Tein inner tie rods + Kazama outer tie rods.

Is it worth the extra $90 to replace the normal Tein outer rods with the Pillowballs? Anyone have this setup?

dude man 90 bucks difference is alot. Also just how hard do you drive your car? For most drivers, the Tein's are enough. If you're a crazy togue guy though and take to the passes every other night like some crazy local bastards then they might be worth it, otherwise I say save the 90 for other things like bushings and what not.

I think Tein makes incredible products. I have their Tension rods, they are amazing. I dont have anything from Kazama, but I would trust Tein much more, just because of their repuatation and quality of their products. And its not all that expensive.

Well, considering that Mr. Kazama is a pro D1 driver and owns his own shop and parts line, I trust his stuff very much (although I own none of it myself, but I have friends that do) But I think that P/B things like that are unnecessary for the street. Myself? I have the Teins.

i have the tein inner and outer. the new steering radius is nice. but the stock tie rod ends cant handle any kind of rough driving. when i got the car everything looks fine. 2 weeks later they were busted. (i drift). so i dont think they would have lasted even if i wasnt drifting.
