Hey guys, just wondering if you'd happen to know if the Tein coilovers happen to fit on 4 banger version our cars. I own a 2.5S and if the coilovers definitely do not fit I will be forced to purchase the BC's instead.

Please let me know, and thanks!

PS: moderators, i've searched. can't find the answer anywhere and the sticky as well as Tein's website says that it fits the 3.5's only, however I don't think anyone's attempted to fit the Tein's on the 2.5.

Welcome to NICO! Thanks for using the search!

To my knowledge, Tein doesn't manufacture any coilover kits that are meant to fit the 2.5. The two cars use different suspension setups for the most part.

I believe some guys have used the BC Racing coilovers to fit the 2.5, but I cannot recall. Perhaps some of them will chime in here.

Thanks a lot Xenon; still waiting for a definitive answer.. to the previous reply, why can't the Tein's lower the car? is there some sort of interference when attempting to lower the ride height?

Yeah they would lower but the ride up front would be harsher than designed.

Got in touch with Tein in California...

Apparently they are testing fitment on the 2.5S now and should have a better idea of whether the 2.5S is an appropriate application for the Street Advance...

I'll post back with any updates!
